Baked Country Style Pork Chops

I cook for a lot of people so I adjusted a recipe I found on Pinterest. This is a delicious meal that the whole family loves!

Baked Country Style Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS

12 Boneless Pork Chops

1 cup ketchup

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

12 onion slices

3 tablespoon water

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Season each pork chop with salt and pepper. I also season with Lawry's season salt.

2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, ketchup and water and stir it up real well.

3. Place pork chops in a large baking dish and cover with them with the mixture. Add onion slices to the top of each pork chop.

4.Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees F for 35-50 minutes.

5. Baste pork chops halfway through cooking. If Pork Chops are looking quite watery cook for remaining time uncovered.

Directions before I modified them -

INGREDIENTS

4 bone-in pork chops

â…“ cup ketchup

¼ cup brown sugar

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

4 large onion slices

1 tablespoon cold water

INSTRUCTIONS Season each pork chop with salt and pepper in a bowl, combine brown sugar, ketchup and water and stir it up real well. Place pork chops in a large baking dish and cover with them with the mixture. Add onion slices to the top of each pork chop. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees F for 35-50 minutes. Baste pork chops halfway through cooking. If Pork Chops are looking quite watery cook for remaining time uncovered.
